SENO WOODLAND STORYWALK®
In Partnership with
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
This enchanting outdoor experience invites children and families to walk, read, and wander through the beauty of Seno Woodland Center. Where stories come to life, and a love for nature grows with every step.
Stories will rotate seasonally, allowing families and children to have new experiences throughout the year! Natural play elements that help develop skills like coordination and balance are to be incorporated, creating a experience that invites children to explore and play.
On September 12th we will celebrate our official launch for Seno Woodland StoryWalk®!
Join us at Seno Woodland Center for a morning of fun crafts, snacks, face-painting from Laughing Llama, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate! Be one of the first to read through our first ever fall story, “Acorn Was A Little Wild” by Jen Arena with Burlington Public Library.
Burlington Public Library will be doing StoryWalk® readings every half-hour starting at 10:30 AM with our inaugural ribbon-cutting. Each group will end the story with a finish-line dance party!
