We annually offer workshops and training opportunities for landowners, teachers and the general public on varied subjects. Subjects vary from chainsaw safety, tree and plant identification, forest land planning, controlling invasive species, encouraging wildlife, to curricula for teachers to use with students.

Art of Tree ID with Kettle Moraine Land Trust
Date: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7
Location: Seno K/RLT Conservancy

Spend the day with Seno K/RLT Conservancy and Kettle Moraine Land Trust and sharpen your tree ID skills while creating your own homemade cards!
This event will be held at Seno K/RLT Conservancy (in the barn/education center) as well as outside on the trails.
During the walk, we’ll discuss the basic concepts of tree ID and collect plants to inspire creativity that transpired from our walk.
Collected leaves/plants will be explored more closely when experiencing beginners print making techniques, using acrylics. Everyone will make a set of homemade cards to take home.
Dress for the weather and for being outdoors. Wear clothing that you don’t mind if it gets a little messy.
Registration is required for this class to ensure space and materials.
