Our buildings and grounds are perfect for showers, weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries. Just about anything you can think of can be beautifully celebrated at Seno! Fees and deposits vary depending on the type of event and what facilities you would like access to. Our basic fee structures and facility options can be found on the table below.

FAQ’s About Renting Seno
Is there a limit to the number of wedding guests? Please be aware that our facility is best suited for weddings in the range of 100-125 guests. A tent can be set up on memorial field, but guest capacity is still subject to parking limitations. The renter must evaluate the parking limitations when planning the event. Please encourage guests to ride-share/car-pool.
Can we rent in winter? Yes. However, the historic upper barn is not heated and the months of January-February can cause difficulty and hazards with sudden or unexpected ice and/or snow. We do plow snow in winter, but it may not be immediately after a snowfall.
How many tables and chairs are available? There are 19 - 6 foot tables that seat 114 comfortably (6 per table) or 152 with table end seating (8 per table). There are also several odd-sized tables used for serving and other functions. At present we have no more than 50 chairs for table seating. The renter must plan for the rental of additional chairs and tables from an outside source, if needed.
What is the size of the upstairs barn seating area? The size of the whole area is 48 feet by 32 feet; the size of only the pine plank flooring area is 32 feet x 32 feet.
Can we have alcohol? Yes. Mixed drinks will require a licensed bartender arranged by the renter. Beer/wine only do not require the licensed bartender.
What time do we have to be out? For full weddings- 1am. There is an occupied residence on our property and neighbors to the north. We expect that you will lower the volume by about 11pm. Other rentals are priced for 6 hour events, and shall not go beyond 9pm.
Can people bring firearms (concealed or open carry)? No.
Are we responsible for cleanup after the event? Yes. You are responsible to return the facilities to the condition you found them. We will provide plenty of trash and recycling containers (recycling is practiced here). For full weddings, the day after the wedding is reserved for cleanup. You will be provided a checklist of conditions to meet that qualify for a returned deposit.
Can we have live music? Yes. But please be considerate of our neighbors.
Is there WiFi in the barn? Yes. Passwords will be posted on the upstairs barn bulletin board.
Can we dance in the upper barn or pavilion? Yes.
Can we smoke at Seno? Smoking is not permitted within enclosed structures and indoors. Smoking is allowed in outside gravel areas and in open-air pavilions. Enclosed tents installed by the renter are considered enclosed structures with no smoking. Please use the labeled sand containers for butt disposal.
Can we cater at our event? Yes. If the caterer you select has not been to Seno, they may need direction to the far pavilion if that is where you want them to set up, and they should ideally preview the building(s) with the renter to determine needs/access to electricity, water, refrigeration, etc. If using the far pavilion in wet weather, the trail can become quite muddy and slippery. Depending on the soil condition and the size of the delivery vehicle, the route may vary.
Can we have a pig roast? Yes. See comments above under "catering".
Can we have food trucks? Yes. See comments above under "catering".
How many restrooms are available? In the 1890s barn, there is one in the lower level (one toilet). In the upper barn level, there are separate Men's and Women's restrooms, with 2 toilets each. A Port-a-Pot is available in Memorial Field from May through November. Additional Port-a-Pots, if required, must be arranged by the renter.
Can we use the small kitchen in the barn downstairs? Yes. You may use the stove and refrigerator. Using a Nesco is acceptable, but if you require an extension cord, you must provide it and it must be in good condition and 12 gauge wire minimum.
Can we ask that you drive people with your tour trailer? The tour trailer and operator can be arranged with good planning and communication, and is available 30 minutes before the ceremony and for 30 minutes after the ceremony. For example, the tour trailer may be requested when renting the far pavilion. There can be no expectation that Seno representative will drive all attendees to the far pavilion.
What is the distance to the far pavilion? The distance is 0.19 mile.
Can we bring golf carts? No. Insurance does not allow it.
Can we hang more lights? Generally, No. But if you have specific needs you wish to discuss, let us know.
